Exploratory Reflection

I already had an idea of what I was gonna choose as my topic for this exploratory essay. Throughout high school and even middle school, I was reading articles in class discussing the issue revolving around violent video games and their effects. halfway through the essay, I struggled to find opposing viewpoints and explain them to them since the reader could be easily confused depending on my word choice and might see two different viewpoints as very similar. I solved them by making sure to accurately depict the viewpoints for what they were so there could be no possible confusion. This piece reveals to me that there is a lot more to writing pieces of literature than meets the eye. You may encounter many roadblocks at some point and might even need to delete half of your essay but you got to get through it. I’m not sure how the others worked on their pieces but for me, I usually tend to work on my work last minute as I have noticed that I work better under pressure and while desiring to go to sleep even though it seems that I’m half asleep while writing. I would try to use different viewpoints to see how that would work because it might make my piece seem smooth and want everything to flow nicely.
